Rest Day 5

Del Rio

Today we decided to take a rest day since it was so cold. Last night after the ride, we had to drive back to Sanderson to pick up the trailer. We then were going to drive to Seminole Canyon State Park to camp for the night, but with the cold weather Tom needed a hotel room so we decided that it would be a good idea to just drive to El Rio, take a rest day, and ride tomorrow when it would hopefully be warmer. As we were driving to El Rio we decided to stop for dinner, at dinner we ended up meeting another cycilisy that we’ve been hearing about for a couple weeks now. It was super fun to catch up and chit chat a little bit. Today we ran a lot of errands, we spent like four hours in Walmart, took the dogs to the groomer, went to a bike shop, and did a few other things, it was really busy. It really funny on our rest days we ended up being really busy because of all the supplies and things we need to get, the rest days are almost more exauhsting than the days of riding. After the errands we picked up and went to dinner with Jenny and Will, fellow cyclists that we met in Silver City, it was super nice to see some familiar faces. Tomorrow we are riding again and hopefully it will be a lot warmer.
